February is a great reminder that home is about more than walls and a roof—it’s about the people and memories inside. I’m truly grateful for the relationships this business allows me to build and the trust you place in me when it comes to one of your biggest investments.

Feeling incredibly grateful! 🎉 Thanks to the constant support of my clients, family, and friends, I’ve been named one of the Top Ten agents in our company for 2025. Your trust keeps me motivated every day. Thank you for helping make this milestone for the last two years.

If there’s ever anything you need or questions I can answer, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

With appreciation and gratitude,

The recipe today is from a dear friend and mentor, Linda Savage.

We have made these for years and you can swap out the kiss for the Chocolate Hearts for Valentines.`

1 cup shortening

1 cup peanut butter

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 cup white sugar

2 eggs

1/2 cup milk

2 tsp vanilla

3.5 cups flour

2 tsp soda

1 tsp salt

1 - 11 oz package of chocolate Kisses or Reese hearts.

Preheat oven at 375 degrees.  Cream together sugar, brown sugar, shortening, and peanut butter.  Add eggs, milk, and vanilla; beat well.  Stir together flour, soda, and salt; add to peanut butter mixture.  Mix well.  Shape into 1 inch balls, roll in additional sugar.  Place on ungreased cookie sheet.  Bake in 375 degree oven for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and press a chocolate kiss into the center of each warm cookie.  Return to oven, bake for 3 minutes longer.  Makes 6-7 dozen cookies.
